6. Legal Basis and Purposes

  • Core features of the app (account creation, pet profiles, document storage, reminders you configure): processed as necessary for the performance of a contract between you and PetHubble (providing the app and its features).

  • Security, fraud prevention, and basic service improvement (e.g., technical logs, crash reports): processed based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, stable, and improving its performance.

  • Marketing communications, optional analytics or non-essential tracking: processed only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app settings or by contacting us.


7. Data Retention

  • Account and pet data: We keep your account information and pet data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 12 months.

  • Backups: Backup copies of the database are retained for up to 12 months before being automatically overwritten.

  • Logs and analytics: Technical logs and analytics data are kept for up to 12 months for security, troubleshooting, and usage analysis, then deleted or anonymised.


8. Children and Minors

PetHubble is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. If you believe that a child’s personal data has been provided to us inappropriately, please contact us at contact@pethubble.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Third-Party Services

We may use GDPR-compliant services (like analytics or crash reporting) to improve the app. These tools do not collect personally identifiable pet or user data beyond what is necessary to provide their services.
